THE TEAM
Meet the Coaches
Each of our coaches has National Coaching Certificate program qualifications ranging from Apprentice up to Level 2 and completed Ireland Code of Ethics and Good Practice for Children’s Sport Course and are Garda Vetted.
Our coaches apply this expertise, working hands-on with our athletes, helping them to develop and reach their full potential in the demanding areas of strength, power, endurance, speed, flexibility, agility, form, technical precision and artistic performance. This is achieved through a rigorous program involving stretching, conditioning, expert apparatus skills training and full choreography.

Hi, my name is Yaroslava. I have been coaching with the Orion team for about a year now. I love coaching gymnastics and working with children as it has taught me many great qualities such as determination and team work. It is extremely rewarding to see gymnast’s progressing, increasing their confidence and becoming more advance. The reactions you get from gymnasts once they have mastered a new skill is absolutely priceless and always make my day.

Hi, I’m Ramona. I have practiced gymnastics at a recreational level since age 10 and began coaching part time while I was in college. I've been working with Orion Gymnastics Club now for over 1 year.
Working with children has proved both challenging and rewarding and has given me a lot of life experience. Display Artistic gymnastics in particular has allowed me to work creatively and given me opportunities to watch our teams perform at all levels (national, regional, all around) which is always exciting and we hope one day to be international as well. Knowing that I helped children progress with their skills over the years is very rewarding.

Hey, my name is Susanna and I have just started working for Orion Gymnastics. I myself did recreational gymnastics as a young child the experience has been fantastic as I can see that gymnastics really is as port that can be enjoyable well as rewarding. The skills you develop through it can then take you onto any given sport and I find nothing more rewarding than being able to teach these skills to the young gymnasts.

Hi, I have been helping the Orion Gymnastics team over a year now. I started gymnastics myself when I was about 5 and haven’t looked back since, over the years and have gained so much knowledge in the sport from this. I love working with children of all ages and abilities, and get a great sense of achievement and enjoyment from my job.
I look forward to coaching for many more years to come.
